1. Cooper Bussmann® Quik-Spec Coordination Panelboard Protects More Critical Circuits with New 400 Amp Main and DC Offering The newly expanded 400 amp-rated main and new 125Vdc rating now
offered in the Cooper Bussmann® Quik-Spec Coordination Panelboard (QSCP), provides greater
application flexibility while simplifying selective coordination. Configurations up to 600Vac/400A/200kA
SCCR or 125Vdc/400A/100kA SCCR make the QSCP ideal for power distribution as well as utility and
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) circuits. 9/6/2011
2. Low leakage current EMC filters now available with UL approval The EMC filters in the FN 2450 range have successfully passed certification by UL (Underwriters
Laboratories, USA). Now equipment intended for export to the USA can also benefit from the
functional light-weight construction of the filters and from their greatly reduced leakage current
compared to conventional filters. 9/6/2011
3. New Panel Feed-throughs for Han® PushPull Profinet Variant The Han® PushPull (variant 14 according to IEC 61076-3-117) is the standardized connector for industrial PROFINET cabling with IP65/67 protection. There are now two new panel feed-throughs available in the robust metal housing for transmission rates up to 1/10 GBit Ethernet, Category 6, Class EA. 9/6/2011
4. CDC17 Series AC Contactor CDC17 series AC contactor is designed for long-distance making and breaking in circuit, frequently starting and controlling AC motor in the power system with frequency 50Hz/60Hz, rated insulation voltage up to 690V and rated operating voltage to 380V in Category AC-3. It also can be assembled with CDR7 or other thermal relay or electrical protection apparatus, as electron magnetic starter, to protect circuit against overload or phase breaking. It can also be used in the circuit with rated operating voltage of 660V when lowering adequate current. 9/6/2011
5. IGBT module tops the competition in current density Semikron presents its newest MiniSKiiP IGBT power semiconductor module, which is now also available in 3-level topology. The new module boasts a rated current of 4.9 A/cm², the highest rated current per unit of area in comparison to competitor products, and one phase leg per module, enabling the development of compact inverters with output power of up to 85 kVA. The MiniSKiiP is characterised by the fast and easy single-screw assembly and therefore optimised for the efficient manufacture of 3-level solar inverters and UPS systems. 9/6/2011
6. HARTING Ha-VIS preLink® HARTING presents a totally new installation concept for data network cabling. The installation process for data cabling on site well known so far can be simplified and shorten by using the new innovative connection technology from HARTING. The data cable will be terminated by the preLink® termination block first and then completed by clipping on the connector modules in RJ45 or M12 interface. Therewith a defined and testable data transmission segment will be generated – the link before the link – the Ha-VIS preLink®. 6/7/2011
7. IGBT module tops the competition in current density Nuremberg, 27 April 2011 - Semikron presents its newest MiniSKiiP IGBT power semiconductor module, which is now also available in 3-level topology. 6/7/2011
8. Goodbye to Bond Wires- New packaging technology replaces wire bonding Nuremberg, 17 May 2011 - Semikron has developed a revolutionary packaging technology for power semiconductors which does away with bond wires, solders and thermal paste. The new SKiN Technology is based on the use of a flexible foil and sintered connections rather than bond wires, solders and thermal paste. 6/7/2011
9. Schaffner expands IEC power entry module family with safety version The Schaffner Group expands its successful IEC power entry module family with the safety version FN9260A.With integrated fuse holder and a reduced leakage current of maximum 74 microamperes, the new filter series is particularly suitable for use in medical equipment. 3/8/2011
10. Latest generation passive filters for low harmonic 690V drives Passive harmonic filters are an excellent tool for improving
the compatibility of motor drives with the public power
grid. Schaffner extends the popular ECOsine™ product
range with filters for 690V systems, supporting a
straightforward upgrade from standard motor drives to
«low harmonic drives». 3/8/2011
